Spring Summer 2017

E1027: For Spring Summer 2017 Colenimo presents a collection inspired by furniture designer and architect Eileen Gray. Her exquisite sense of style and unrelenting work ethic produced some of the purest and most iconic examples of modernist design in the 20th Century.

The collection is comprised of oversized collarless trench coats in traditional gabardine, vintage light-weight “super-130s” summer wool top and trousers, patchwork vintage silk dresses and silk crepe shirts with vintage printed silk collars. Giza cotton work jacket with fabric covered buttons sit alongside gabardine bib trousers, vintage British un-dyed denim collarless work jacket and trousers, Giza cotton simple dresses with hand-tacked detail and indigo woad over-dyed silk blouses.
