Spring Summer 2016
The Everyday Extraordinary: A collection of women’s clothing inspired by the work of Weimar era photographer Marianne Breslauer, who’s sublime portraits and observations of everyday life bring us a quiet and intimate glimpse of an often turbulent era. With an intuition for atmosphere and compositional talent, she used her camera to inconspicuously capture the essence of the people and events around her.
The collection features washed double-breasted linen suits, shower-proof striped a-line coats, woad-indigo dip-dyed blouses and dresses, silk-crepe tops and a hand-made paper Panama hat. Other pieces include simple vintage cotton and linen tops and light gabardine short trench coats.
All pieces are made in the UK.
